Charles Everett is a Florida-based painter whose work bridges loose realism and bold abstraction through expressive mark-making and layered surfaces. Working primarily in oil and mixed media, his paintings explore themes of connection and alienation, often reflecting on the psychological distance created by technology, contemporary life, and humanity’s shifting relationship with the natural world.

A self-taught artist, Everett has maintained a dedicated painting practice for over fifteen years. His work has been presented in solo exhibitions at the Daytona State College Fine Arts Gallery, The Founders Gallery at The HUB on Canal in New Smyrna Beach, and the law firm of Cobb Cole. His paintings have also been featured in The Shop at the Orlando Museum of Art and are held in several private collections.

 Everett lives in DeLand, Florida.
